Explore the Grand

Legacy

Originally built in the 1850's as a Gothic Revival style railroad station, 81 Mary Street played a vital role in Charleston’s transportation history.

Designed by architect Edward C. Jones, the station featured a grand entrance large enough to accommodate a train. It later housed the Charleston Bagging & Manufacturing Company, The Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce and the Charleston Area Convention & Visitors Bureau headquarters, before ultimately becoming the Charleston School of Law in 2004.

Elegance

Expertly restored by Duvall Catering & Events, The Grand at 81 Mary features custom chandeliers, premium A/V technology, a beautifully appointed built-in bar, and private bridal suites. No expense was spared in creating a venue worthy of its legacy and name.
